Fed: Economy is growing modestly: Costello

CANBERRA, Dec 7 AAP - The latest national accounts figures showed modest growth across
the economy, Treasurer Peter Costello said today.

Commenting on the latest GDP figures, which grew at 0.2 per cent in the September quarter,
Mr Costello described the figure as modest.

"Today's national accounts show there was modest growth in the Australian economy in
the September quarter," he said.
